After a lengthy illness from kidney failure, John moved on to the links in the sky.
John loved golfing so much, we had a 9 hole course in the backyard, complete with sand traps, pars and flags.
He is survived by his children Cynthia and Garner, his brothers Gene and Robert, and his sister Luella.
A memorial will be held at a later date at the family plot in Maple Ridge.
