Boston, John

June 9, 1935 – August 19, 2015

John passed away after a long, interesting life and two-year struggle with cancer. Born in England, he immigrated to Canada for its natural splendor and social openness. John loved great classical music and average homemade wine. He swung hammers and rackets, drove slow moving cattle and high speed drills. John served the Canadian Armed Forces, First Nations villages, Community Health and Corrections as a dentist. Family and friends will miss his curiosity, kindness, optimism and witticism.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Marilyn, his sons Adrian (Flora) and Alex (Denise), and his grandchildren, Kenson, Mia and Aiden. He is survived by his brother David (Catharine) in England.

Special thanks to his Oncology, Home Care and Palliative teams. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 17, 2:00 pm, Boal Memorial Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to John’s favourite international charity, Doctors Without Borders, or the Lions Gate Foundation - Home and Community Care - Palliative

Education.
