Our beloved son, brother and uncle passed away peacefully on September 10, 2023 at Eden Rest Home in Chilliwack, BC.
He was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan on July 26, 1945 to Meinrad and Cecelia Strueby (nee Britz).
Jim lived most of his life in Chilliwack. He was a devoted Catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was predeceased by his parents, his three brothers; Donald, Elmer and Gerald, and one sister Marianne.
He is survived by his brother Ken (Joan), brother-in-law Doug Moore, sister-in-law Georgina Strueby, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be at Saint Mary's Church in Chilliwack at 11 am on September 19, 2023.
