With great sadness we announce the passing of Jean at the Valley Haven Senior Health Center. Jean was born in Winnipeg, her mother Eva & her moved to Vancouver where Jean's mom met her husband and Jean's father Jack Eaton. Jean met her husband Roy in Victoria in 1964. They were married in 1968, they were blessed with a daughter Trichelle in 1972. They moved to Chilliwack in 1978 when Roy was in the military.
Jean was an adjuster at ICBC for over 10 years. She then owned a business "Welcome to Chilliwack" and later was an Avon President's club member.
A smile is the simplest gift you can give to others, and Jean's smile was unforgettable.
The family would like to thank the wonderful care & tremendous compassion the staff at Valley Haven gave to Jean. A special thanks to Diana for giving Jean a little extra care and love. Also to Dr. Hirst & his staff for all the care and needs Jean had.
The Alzheimer's had extinguished Jean's bright eyes and wonderful smile, but the love for her family was always there.
She is survived by her husband Roy, her daughter Trichelle, her son-in-law Scott, and her grandsons Caden and Jordan.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the BC Alzheimer's Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
