Jan Oostenbrug passed away peacefully into the presence of His Lord on February 12, 2005 at the age of 90 years. He was born in Lauwerzyl, The Netherlands on January 21, 1915.
He is survived by his loving wife, Truus, of 33 years and their three children Mannie (Klaas) Huttema, Dorothy (Walter) Vangrootheest, Sidney (Pat) Oostenbrug, 15 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jan was predeceased by his first wife, Jantje in 1968 and three children in infancy.
Services will be held at the Canadian Reformed Church at 1 pm on February 18, 2005 with Pastor Van Luik officiating.
Donations may be made to the John Calvin School in Yarrow.
