Jim Sharples passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 82 years. He was born February 23, 1931 in Preston, Lancashire, England.
Jim is survived by his devoted loving wife, Carmen; daughters: Michelle and Marie; son, Sam; sons-in-law: Scott and Stuart; daughter-in-law, Annie; grandchildren: Joslyne, Lori and Angela, Frazier, Erika and Morgan, Emma and Charmaine.
Jim’s wife, children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of Jim’s kind spirit, passion for sports, love of reading and zest for life will live on through them. Jim was an inspiration to all who knew him. Jim always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips, he brought happiness wherever he went.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at St. John’s Anglican Church, 46098 Higginson Rd, Chilliwack; Fr. Dale Yardy presiding. Please consider a donation to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
