It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Russell Steinhoff, 72. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, after a battle with cancer.
Russ had a love for gardening, he worked as a landscaper for most of his life and perfected his craft. He enjoyed providing fruits and vegetables for his family, friends, and neighbours. Russ took great pride in his large garden and was always happy to share his knowledge and expertise (whether you wanted it or not).
Russ was predeceased by his wife Theresa Belzer whom he loved dearly and his caring daughter-in-law Ela Steinhoff.
Russ is survived by his children Jamie (late Ela), Cindy, Warren (Kira), Curt (Tina) and Craig (Jodi). Grandchildren Oliver, Conrad, Clara, Lenea (Marc), Nicole (Jon), Kylie (Kyle), Emilee (Alec), Derek, Ashley, Natasha and Richard. Great grandchildren River, Theo, Oliver, Colton, Brooklyn, Jameson and Miles.
Russ will be dearly missed and will live on in our hearts and our gardens.
No services will take place as per Russ' request. We appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
