James Edward Thomas passed away peacefully at home December 15, 2017.
Jim, as he was known to his family & friends, was born in the Vancouver's East End. Jim was well known for his many stories about his time working the city's steel mill & his nights spent at the Blue Boy.
He had many adventures driving his Semi truck and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Jim made his permanent move to Chilliwack in 2003 with Gwen and daughter Stephanie where he remained until his passing.
Jim was known for his love of music, his sharp humour, and unbelievable knowledge of sports. He was a wonderful father & friend who has left to grieve his twenty five year partner Gwen, his daughter Stephanie (Jyles), step-sons Trevor (Terra), Charles (Elizabeth), five grandchildren, and many good friends too numerous to name. Jim was loved and will be terribly missed.
Jim's family would like to thank Chilliwack Home Support for their care of Jim, with a special thanks to Mark, Gerry and Yonas.
We are welcoming everyone to say their goodbyes January 13 between 7 - 9 pm at our home.
