FRANZ Jacob. Long time resident of Abbotsford passed away August 25, 2013 at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his children: Lydia (Peter) Krahn, Lorraine (Randy) Derksen and Ernest (Gloria); 8 grandchildren: Benjamin (Nicole), Sarah-Ann and Rebecca Krahn, Tyler, Matthew (Vanessa) and Brandon Derksen, and Brittany and Jake Franz; 3 great grand- children: Micah, Halayna and Jediah Krahn; other family members and friends. Jacob was predeceased by his first wife Annie (nee Hildebrandt) in 1991 and 2nd wife Helen Wiens in 2010. Viewing will take place Thursday, August 29 between 7:00 and 8:00 pm at River of Life Church, 42369 South Sumas Rd., Chilliwack. Jacob will be buried Friday, August 30 at 11:00 am at Greendale Cemetery, followed by the memorial service at 1:30 pm at River of Life Church.
