John (Jack) Hankin Carradice passed away, at the age of 88, on February 21, 2021 following a lengthy battle with heart disease.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rene Carradice, his daughter Maureen Carradice, son-in-law Michael Fairley and granddaughter Kate Fairley.
Jack had a long and rewarding career working and playing in the forests of British Columbia, primarily with the B.C. Forest Service. His interests throughout his life were varied and included hiking, camping, hunting and fishing, golf, photography and travel.
Jack's family and friends always found him a source of engaging, thought-provoking conversation and were uplifted by their talks with him. A tall man, his energy and personality filled every room and even the great outdoors.
