Passed away unexpectedly at Chilliwack general hospital at the age of 70 years. She was born in Daysland Alberta in 1949 and was the youngest of five children to Nellie and Thomas Wolokoff.
Irene is survived by her husband of 48 years Roy Earl Bevans, her daughter Tina (Bruce) and her grandchildren Kianna and Riley. Her son Tom (Tracy) and her grandchildren Kate, Kyle, - Ty, Kanda. Her Brother Jack (Myrna), Sister Marlene (Irvin), Her sister in-law Maryanne and her god daughter Tammy Heschel. Irene was predeceased by brothers Johnny Wolokoff, Edward Wolokoff, and her sister in-law Lily Wolokoff
Irene and Roy moved to Chilliwack in 1969 where she worked as a hairdresser at a few different salons and also had a hairdressing salon she ran in her home. Irene and Roy loved fishing and going dancing together. Irene retired at 65 years old and enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, playing cards, cooking, shopping with her daughter, and spending family time, especially with the grandchildren.
Irene will be greatly missed by all who knew her
