Born in Vancouver January 6, 1935.She live on Vancouver Island and was a member of B.C.F.P. until she retired and moved to the coast.Predeceased by her husband Dennis.
She attended and became a member of Rosedale United Church and was a part of a wonderful community of friends and neighbours in Rosedale B.C. Hilda is survived by her mother Mrs. Winnie Markland a sister Win and a brother Don.
Hilda had two daughters, Linda McDonald and Beverly Calkins. Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Hilda passed on August 25th at home with her faithful dog Sam at her side. Many Thanks to Dr. Whetter:The 3rd floor nurses station:Cindy and Elaine (social workers) of Chilliwack hospital. Also to the in home and Pallative Care nurses and Ms. Joan Lundgren for the loving friendship and care that she gave Hilda in her final days. There will be no service at Hilda’s request. We will miss her.
