Hedy Olga Clough (nee Adams) of Kelowna, BC, formerly of Chilliwack and Langley, passed away peacefully at the Kelowna Hospice House on February 21, 2011.
She was born in Broadview, Sask. on June 5th, 1923. Hedy was predeceased by husband William, son-in-law Larry Ast, her parents, three brothers and one sister. She is lovingly remembered by her family, sons William (Joyce), Robert (Anne), daughter, Gloria Ast, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Hilda and Louise.
Hedy’s favourite pastimes were bingo, jigsaw puzzles, knitting and crocheting afghans for her family and the Kelowna Hospital. Thanks to the staff at the Kelowna Hospice House for her loving care.
The family welcomes you to a “Celebration of Life” to be held in her honour on Friday, March 4th at 1 pm at Langley in the Clubhouse at 6467 197th Street. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Kelowna Hospice House or a charity of your choice.
