Gladys Christine Ferris passed away at ninety-six years of age, at Chilliwack Hospital April 18, 2018. Lovingly remembered and much missed by family and friends.
Mom is survived by her son Bob (Nancy) and granddaughter Kristin. She was predeceased by husband Fred, her parents Eliza and Olaf, sisters Mable and Alice, and brothers Hal, Al, George and Stanley.
Raised in Millet Alberta, she went to Lamont Public Hospital for her nurses training and worked as an RN in Alberta and British Columbia. She met Fred while working at Provost Alberta and they farmed in the area for many years. After moving to Chilliwack in 1969, mom returned to nursing working at Chilliwack General Hospital.
There will be no service, and her ashes are to be spread.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at Bradley Centre for their respectful, attentitive and compassionate care of mom, and Dr. Enns for his care and support.
