Gertrude Suth–erland passed away at the Chilliwack General Hospital on May 16, 2006 at the age of 72 years. She was born in Eatonia, Saskatchewan on August 11, 1933 and was a resident of Chilliwack Lifestyles for the past 3 years.
Gertrude is survived by her two daughters; Wendy Millward of Calgary, Alberta, Cindy Sutherland of Roberts Creek, B.C. and her son Bruce (Shannon) Sutherland of Chilliwack, four grandchildren; Rebecca, Juleah, Daniel and Andrew. She is also survived by her sisters Mary, Doreen, Emma, Olga, Helen and Charlotte and her brother Bill as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment of cremated remains will take place in The Royal Canadian Legion Cemetery, 10010 Hillcrest at 1:00 p.m. on Friday May 26th, 2006
Services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 8871 School St, Chilliwack, B.C. with Pastor Wayne Lunderby officiating. Donations may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society.
