Gerald Michael Shackleford was born in Nanaimo, B.C.
Grew up in Honeymoon Bay, B.C. Worked at the Honeymoon Bay Sawmill, then in the woods on Vancouver Island and Queen Charlottes.
He was with BC Tel - Telus for 28.5 years. Retired in 2003. Then went into Real Estate for 6 years.
He is survived by his wife Dorothea, son Michael (Michelle) daughter Krista (David) son Andrew (Meredith) and 5 grandchildren.
We would like to thank the kind and compassionate staff and volunteers at Cascades Hospice for making Gerry's last four months
comfortable.
