Frederick George Alvery Belsham

Fred Belsham passed away peacefully on Friday October 7, 2022 in Chilliwack, BC at age 88 years. He was born on December 14, 1933 in Prince George, BC. Fred was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Belsham, his sister Beth Dagg, and his parents Frederick Arthur Belsham and Mable Jean Kitchen.
He is survived by his partner Marjorie Fast, his daughters: Linda (John) Carne, Elaine (Gordon) Jackson, Marlene (Franco) Linza; his son John (Lessia) Belsham; and grandchildren Trevor Carne, Nathan (Melissa) Carne, Emily (Dustin) Hellyer, Jillian (Jimmy) Carne, Jeremy (Jessica) Neufeld, Kris (Jessica) Neufeld, Matt (Megan) Neufeld, Laura Linza, Fraser (Alison) Linza; 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; his siblings, Floyd Belsham, Evelyn Hardy and Esther Price; and many niece and nephews.
Fred had a servant's heart every day of his life. He actively served the community and volunteered with several organizations. He was a Scout Leader wherever he was stationed. He was a life member of the Mount Cheam Lions and an important member of St. John's church. In 2010 he was proudly awarded the Order of the Diocese of New Westminster for his devotion to the Anglican Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00pm at St. John's Anglican Church in Chilliwack.
