Born in Birmingham, England Mom was predeceased by our Dad, Eric. She is survived by two siblings. Her legacy of love is her family: five children, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was a British war bride and was very proud of her British heritage and the time she served in the British Women’s Land Army. She was also a loyal member of CFBCHS (our local military historic society.)
‘Nanny’ was a good, loving woman with a terrific sense of humour. We will all miss her laughter, her voice and the love she so willingly gave to us.
A ‘British Tea’ was held by the family and we called it Mom’s Legacy of Love. Mom was a fascinating and unforgettable character. She had a million stories to tell but her main focus in life was always her family - she loved each and every one of us. We were so very fortunate to have such an amazing woman guiding us through life.
I know she will be missed by her family and friends. I want each and every one of you to remember her with love in your hearts because that’s what she felt towards you - love.
