Fred Apps passed away in the 100 Mile House Hospital on March 9, 2006 at the age of 85 years. He was born in Preeceville, Saskatchewan on December 5, 1920.

Fred had been a logger who worked for the Forest Service as a Log Scaler. He was a member of the Chilliwack Curling Club and enjoyed making wooded toys and furniture.

Fred is survived by his wife Menita of 591?2 years and their children; two sons, Sidney (Mona) and Ron; two daughters, June Findley) and Alice (Larry) Reiter, nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived his sister Pearl (Dave) MacAulay and brother-in-law Dave. He was predeceased by his brothers; Elmer, John, Howard and sister Elsie Clements and grand daughter Meagan.

Services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home.

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

He will be greatly missed by all.
