Frank James QUIGLEY

July 28, 2002

Born July 8, 1913 in Penetanguishene, Ont. Frank passed away quietly July 28, 2002 at St. Vincent Hospital. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rose; son Dennis (Lynne); daughters, Diane MacLachlan, and Darlene Osborne (Bill); five grandsons, Ryan, Dalen, Scott, Colin, and Lindsay; two great-grandchildren, Keisha, and Benjamin; and sister Agnes. He was predeceased by his brother Tony; and sisters, Rita and Ellen. Frank worked for the ILWU Vancouver local retiring in 1975.


Frank was a loving father, well-liked by all, had a good sense of humour, and enjoyed a good time. His passion was sports. He particularly enjoyed golf, dancing, and watching his beloved Blue Jays.


Prayer services were held at Corpus Christi Parish, 6350 Nanaimo St. at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002. Frank and Rose were longtime residents of E. 44th Ave. and parishoners of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. They moved to Shannon Oaks in January of 2002.
