Reisig; Frances Bernice "Bunny" (nee: Gardhouse). Frances Bernice "Bunny" Reisig passed away on December 11, 2013 in Chilliwack Hospital. Bunny was born January 6, 1923 in Chilliwack. She is predeceased by husband Ernie Reisig in 1986 at the age of 68, sisters Juanita Reisig and Shirley Penner. Bunny is survived by her 3 children, Carol Thurston of Ituna, SK, Joan (Garth) Klyne of Logan Lake, BC and Frank (Bonnie) Reisig of Chilliwack and sisters Bev Figgitt and Donna Dever both of Chilliwack. She leaves to mourn 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, her lifelong friend Thessel Gust and her faithful neighbour Dorothy Dewar. After Bunny got her drivers license at the age of 65, she enjoyed going for long drives around the Fraser Valley, visiting family and friends. She especially loved preparing tea and butter tarts and other goodies for her friends that loved to drop in for a visit. Bunny spent her whole life in the Fraser Valley. She spent 50 years in her home on 5th Ave that her husband built. She then moved to Cottonwood Retirement Village in Sardis in 1996. Bunny was 90 years and 11 months of age at the time of her passing. A Memorial Tea will be held on Monday, December 16th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at Woodlawn Mt.
