It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Felicia Bitterlich. Felicia was born in Berlin-Lankwitz, Germany to Edith Elhers. She was an only child and was raised by her aunt Freida Lipmann.

After WWII she became a social worker for the office of Provencial District of Gifhorn. She worked there until 1959, then moved to Canada to learn English.

She met Ulf Bitterlich at boat races on the Tamihi River. They married in 1960 and settled at Ryder Lake where they raised 2 children.

Felicia earned a B.A. in European History from Simon Frasier University. She loved reading, tea parties, lectures and belonged to Toastmasters.

Felicia is predeceased by her husband Ulf and sister-in-law Honey.

She is survived by children Mario and Iris, brother-in-law Adolf, and nine nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life for both Felicia and Ulf on November 25,2023 at Ryder Lake Hall at 2 pm. Please bring your pictures and stories to share.
