Erwin Richard Bobroske passed away on January 21, 2007 at Chilliwack General Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer at 76 years of age. He was born November 18, 1930 in Lloydminster, Alberta.
Erwin is survived by his wife Donna, children Rick (Cathy), Don, Janice (Dennis), grandchildren Leanne, Erin, Steven, Dana, Darren, Jamie, Jordan and Ava. Siblings Herb, Jean, Betty, Shirley and Marlene; coming from a family of 15 – 8 Boys and 7 girls, he is predeceased by Willy, Fred, Art, Emil, Margaret, Helen, Bernard, Eleanora and Walter.
Raised in Marwayne, Erwin started (1948) an 18 year career with the Toronto Dominion Bank. Wanting a change he moved his family to Longview, Washington in 1967 and began a 27 year career as a Sales Professional. In 1973, Erwin and Donna returned to Canada and settled in BC.
Erwin was a natural athlete excelling in hockey, baseball and golf. Even pool was an early passion and he started skiing after he turned 50.
A memorial service was held on January 25th at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home.
