Ernie A. Finnigan, 77, late of Chilliwack, passed away on December 1, 2013 at Heritage Village Care Home. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of 52 years; 3 daughters, Pauline (Mark Forster), Christine (Rick Wickenheiser) and Tamara (John Thorpe); 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Ernie's waterfront career began in 1962 with local 502 in New Westminster. In 1984, he worked at Westshore Terminal where he retired on June 17, 1997. Ernie's passion was fishing, woodworking and playing Keno. The family extends a special thank you to all the staff at Heritage Village. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Ernie's memory. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1:00 pm with reception to follow.
