Elsie passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord at Eden Rest Home on Thursday morning. She was born in North Kildonan, Manitoba, and as a young girl the family moved to Vancouver and then to Chilliwack. She was predeceased by her mother Janina Kutzner, born in Poland, arriving in Canada in 1927 and her father Ferdinand Beger, born in Poland arriving in Canada in 1925.
She is survived by her daughter Darlene (Don) White of Chilliwack, sister Erica E. Culin of White Rock, 2 brothers Eric (Lorraine) Beger of Chilliwack, Elmer (Peggy) Beager of Abbotsford, nieces Lynn (Beger) Kroetch of Chilliwack, Shelley Culin of Vancouver, nephews Rick Beger of Chilliwack and Brad Culin of Ontario.
The family would like to thank the staff at Eden Rest Home for the wonderful care they gave Elsie over the years, also a special thank-you to Dr. Ross.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 18th 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Henderson’s Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Henderson’s Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow in the tea room after the service.
