Born March 21, 1923 in Duisburg, Germany, passed away peacefully January 5, 2021.
Elsa survived the devastating Second World War, she despised any form of human discrimination of civil rights.
Elsa dominated the motion for our family to immigrate to Canada. There was a subsequent divorce and Elsa raised her 3 difficult sons employed as a Physiotherapist.
Elsa loved to bake, cook, knit, crochet and do needle work. She was the most giving and unselfish person to her family and friends.
She was very talented in antique furniture restoration and keeping a very clean living space. Elsa was most at peace when reading her bible. She loved to entertain, and became an expert of making custom chocolates, a favourite of her friends at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Chilliwack.
Elsa was extremely rich as a person. Her heart was most content living in her beautiful community of Chilliwack, BC.
Survived by her sons Herbert, Karl 'aka Charlie', and Siegfried, grandchildren Chris, Jamie, and Samantha and great-granddaughter Sydney and potential grandchild Mathew J. Unger

Family Funeral Service at Henderson's Funeral Home, Chilliwack on January 21 at 11am followed by burial 1pm.
