With sadness, we announce the passing of Mary Marshall, with both her daughters by her side. She is survived by Janet Marshall (Rolph)and Barbara (Jim) Lewko, grandsons Scott, Bruce and Chad, and great-grandson Ethan. Predeceased by her husband, Doug in 2009.
Mary was born and raised in Cornwall, England, met Doug, an RAF pilot, during the war years and moved to Vancouver, BC in October 1948 to marry him. They built their own home in North Vancouver in 1958, then their summer cottage at Lindell Beach, Cultus Lake in 1964, where many happy memories and friendships were made, and which eventually became their retirement home. Mary moved to the Comox Valley after Doug
passed away. Mary provided a loving home, was an avid gardener and bridge player, had a passion for genealogy, and loved the ocean waves of her native Cornwall.
