Eleanor Beairsto (nee Yorston), formerly of Sedgewick, Alberta, passed away with family by her side on December 26, 2016 at Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack, BC. Eleanor will be lovingly remembered by daughter, Carol (Malcolm) Olsen, daughter Muriel Madsen, son Carl (Barb) Beairsto, sister Kay Docksteader, 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Colvin, sisters Ruth Currie and Muriel Gardner, sons-in-law Ian Hoyland & Svend Madsen. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Carman United Church, 7258 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, BC. Internment will take place at a later date in Sedgewick, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carman Memorial Endowment Fund or a charity of one's choice.
