February 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar Clark commonly referred to as Ted. Ted passed away on the 28th of February, 2024 at peace surrounded by his family.

Ted at 81 is predeceased by his parents, George and Patricia Clark, sister Marliss and brother[1]in-law Gordon Perry, brother-in-law Richard Dillabough.

Ted is survived by his twin brother Fred (Pat) Clark, his sister Dianne Dillabough.

He is also survived by nieces and nephews Rae Perry, Shannon Anderson, Scott Perry, Michael Clark, Greg Clark, Natacha Clark, Carrie Johnson, Pat Dillabough, Kelly Dillabough as well as numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.

Ted, who was projected to live only 5 -10 years surpassed that prognosis by many years. He was surrounded by family and friends who provided support and encouragement which enabled him to move through this arduous journey.

Ted received training at a farm in Smithers and from there to Terrace vocational school, which was established to provide work and social skills for challenged young adults. The training he received allowed him to advance into a series of janitorial and ground keeping jobs in public institutions.

His final job was at the Parliament building in Victoria where he worked for over 30 years.

Following retirement, Ted moved to Chilliwack. His support group consisted of Dianne, Patrick and Starla who ensured that he had frequent outings, that he had required medications and assisting in transporting him to all medical appointments.

Ted was happy and enjoyed life to the end.

Rest in Peace Edgar (Ted) - We all love YOU!
