It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar Liva. Predeceased by son Dennis, 1974 and Daniel, 2012 Ed leaves his beloved wife Leila, brother Hugo and family, son Avo, daughter Ivy (Rick), daughter Liz (Rick), son David (Gwen), 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren whom he cherished dearly. Born in Estonia and arriving in Canada in 1948, Ed was well known for his many business ventures including the first turf farm in BC and owner operator of Meadow Gardens motel and Steakhouse and the original Meadow Gardens golf course in Pitt Meadows. Leaving the area to eventually retire in Osoyoos, BC in 1990 where he built their own home, Ed and Leila returned back to Maple Ridge in 2016. The family expresses their appreciation for the care he received in Maple Ridge Hospital and the support and friendships of staff and residents of Willow Manor. We will remember you forever and miss you always, until we meet again.
