December 3, 1922 - April 15, 2019
Dorothy (Granny) Marshall sailed peacefully off into the sunset Monday afternoon, to be with her beloved Bill, whom she met on the badminton courts in Calgary.
She enjoyed great health and strong, proud independence for all but the last months of her 96 years in her home, surrounded by the beauty of Cultus Lake and enjoying the company of her family and many friends.
Dorothy was kind and generous, welcoming and appreciative of those around her. In her life, she brought these qualities to many different passions and relationships through golf, badminton, sailing, music and the Cultus Lake community.
She leaves behind, to miss her, June, Harry, Jody, Jill and Joanne Polukoshko, Alan, Marilyne, Erin and Stuart Marshall, their partners, and 5 great-grandchildren. Her warmth, beautiful smile and spirit will live on in all of us.
No ceremony will be held, at Dorothy's request. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate her life. The family extends appreciation to the extraordinary staff for the compassionate care she received at Agassiz Seniors Centre.
We miss you today, we will miss you tomorrow, and we will miss you forever.
