“Boots”

(Oct. 20, 1942 - Aug. 1, 2008)

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather Donald Boutilier, after a lengthy and courageous battle with lymphoma cancer.

Boots will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother Doris Elizabeth, now residing in Chilliwack, wife Brenda (nee Fraser), son Kenneth, daughter Shawna and grandsons Daniel, Creighton and Travis, his brother Deryck, wife Chris and niece Trina of Trenton Ontario. He too leaves behind several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews living in the Maritimes and eastern Canada as well as close cousins Bob Boutilier and wife Verna of Edmonton, Randy, Neil and Greg MacDonald from Toronto and step grandmother Lelia Brenton of Brookfield Nova Scotia.

Boots spent 37 years in the Royal Canadian Engineers and is well known locally due to his participation in hockey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the ASU Military Base located on Keith Wilson Road at 1:30 Friday, August 15, 2008.
