Donald Barry (Don) Chustnutt
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Donald Chestnutt at age 84 years of age on the 15th of June at Chilliwack General Hospital. Don was born January 30 1933 in Vancouver, BC. Don followed in his Fathers footsteps as a Dairy worker. Firstly at Palm Dairies and later on to Dairyland where he worked as a foreman until he retired in 1995. Don enjoyed golf and spending time with Connie at their getaway, Black Mountain Ranch which they had become members in 1984 and started to travel until Connie fell ill and passed away suddenly in 1999. Don enjoyed the company of his “tea buddies” over the last several years, where I’m sure there was no shortage of good conversation and good jokes, perhaps even some less than tasteful ones! Don shared the last 16 years with his loving companion Barb. They shared many wonderful times together and a lot of laughter. They brought each other immense happiness, and Barb will always remain a part of our Family Don is predeceased by his loving wife Connie, parents John and Mary Chestnutt, brothers John and Ken. Left to mourn his passing are his daughters Tammie (Keith), Barb (Rod), Lori (Cliff), Debbie (Alan), son Robert, daughter in law Cathy, and grandchildren, Craig(Donna), Michael, Dustin(Elaira), Mitchell(grace) ,Jake, Brooklyn and Jensen, Ashley(Sam), and Jason (Ashley) . Great grandchildren, Evan, Olivia, Paige, James, and Harper. Along with many nieces and nephews, friends and golf buddies. Don was a hardworking man who went above and beyond for his family and extended family. Soft spoken, kind and caring. We will miss you forever and always. “May the road rise with you, may the wind be always at your back.
