Diane (Carole) Sobota

July 29, 1943 - January 18, 2020
Diane Sobota, born in Thunder Bay Ontario passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 18, 2020 at the age of 76. She left us with the strength of a warrior, keeping her famous wit, humour and sarcasm to the end, going peacefully on her terms.

Diane was best known for lighting up a room with her big smile and warm heart, her passion was her garden, which was her happy place she shared with many, an astute businesswoman, she owned Chez Moi Hair Design for many years, where ultimately most of her clients became friends. That was Diane.

She is survived by her loving husband Michael of 57 years and their two daughters, Michele (Hugo) Cookson and Rochelle (Bruce) Baldo. Also, brother Terry (Berth) Shultz from Texas. She will be sadly missed six grand girls, Chloe (Jordon), Gabrielle, Kennedy, Cassidy, Tara (Isaac), Shauna (Ryan) and her great grand girls, Charlie and Harlow. She was looking forward to seeing the birth of the first great grandson.
A Celebration of life will be held on March 14, 2020 from 2-4 pm at the clubhouse of Halcyon Meadows, at 46000 Thomas Road, Chilliwack.
