Debbie Mongeon went to be with those she loved and missed, on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the age of 50 years.
Debbie was, to those who knew her, a rock. A woman of courage and strength who loved as few can do. Debbie was married 28 years to Al, who loved her with total devotion. Together they had two sons, Andre (25) and Sheldon (17). She was a loving grandmother to Mason, who is almost 2. Debbie and Al were a couple who worked hard for what they had and always helped those around them. Together they created A&D Flagging, a successful business which has helped many and is respected in the community.
Debbie was loved as a wife, a mom, an aunt and a boss. She was loved as family when blood ties meant nothing.
Debbie told us to always do as she did: look for the light in the dark, and never stay in the shadows of past hurts. Debbie saw the good in everyone. She knew that we were all imperfect and in that we are perfect. Debbie has left and amazing legacy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 24 at 1:30 pm from the Chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack. Reception will follow.
