It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Debbie Vina Jillings (nee Ambrose) announce her passing on February 11th after a very sudden and brief struggle with cancer. Debbie leaves behind and will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Mike, son Christopher (Caitlin) and her siblings Dan (Edna) Ambrose, Darlene Ambrose, and Diane Neuls. She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Vina Ambrose (nee Swiderski).
Debbie, the youngest of four children, was born in Kamloops, B.C. The family settled in Chilliwack in 1965. Deb and Mike married in 1983, celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary last year.
Debbie was employed in the automotive collision repair industry, where she met many lifelong friends. She started in office administration before moving into marketing and estimating, however her number one priority was always family.
Debbie, Deb to her friends, was very outgoing and had a gift for connecting with people, always being inclusive of all she met. A passionate traveller, Deb loved to get away and explore new destinations, always looking forward to her next adventure with family and friends. She enjoyed going for walks and hiking on local trails as well as cycling and morning walks on almost any beach during her travels.
