Griffeth; David, Francis. Born November 29, 1937 and passed away October 29, 2013. David was born in Moosejaw, Sask, the youngest son of Jim and Margaret Griffeth. Both predeceased him.
The family moved to Chilliwack in 1947 and then Cultus Lake in 1948. After graduating from high school David worked for the Bank of Montreal for 17 years, working in Chilliwack, Cloverdale, Vernon, Penticton, Smithers and Dawson Creek. Upon leaving the Montreal bank he started at Lakeview Credit Union in Dawson Creek as the district manager. When he retired he moved to Mayerthorp, AB. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue; daughter Ann (Pat) Walsh, Michael and Kate; son, Phillip, Stephen and Jessica; brother Gord (Uschi) Griffeth; sisters, Enice (Dick) Lahrman, Carol Peters and Lorna Griffeth; and numerous nieces and nephews. David was very involved with The Knights of Columbus and was an avid golfer. Internment took place in Mayerthorp on November 2, 2013.
