David suddenly passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, June 17, 2018 at the age of 64.
He will be missed by his loving wife Ellen; children Peter, Lisa, Nicole, Mark, Timothy and Melissa; 6 grandchildren Jessica, Mason, Wyatt, Michael, Mitchell and Kendra; a beloved son of Clarence and Doris Schaefer; siblings, Dennis (Barb), Wendy, Brad (Pam), Chris (Scott), Mia, and the late Brian; brother-in-law to Robert, Joe, David and Shelley.
David served in the military for 35 years and will be sadly missed by his fellow brothers in arms.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to share their memories of David with his family at the Vedder Legion at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
