May 21, 1949 - June 4, 2021
It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Frayn. After a brief battle with leukemia, Dale passed away into the arms of the Lord on June 4, 2021. He was born May 21, 1949 in Calgary, Alberta to Carl & Lois Frayn. On May 28, 1971, he married his high school sweetheart, Gayle and they just
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Dale is survived by his wife, Gayle and two sons, Jason (Tammy) and Jeremy (Jenn) and 6 grandchildren, Devin, Michael, Grace, Owen, Chase & Alyssa along with
sisters Darlene & Wendy.
Dale was well known in the Fraser Valley agricultural community. Dale and his brother Dennis owned and operated Frayn's Livestock Trucking.
Dale sold his half of the business in the early 1990's to his brother. He then moved on to work as a truck driver at the local feed mill until he retired in 2018.
Dale was known as a gentle giant. He loved his family and friends unconditionally. His face would light up when his grandchildren were with him. They held a special place in his heart. He was a man of few words, yet his love and kindness spoke volumes. He would do anything for those around him. When called upon, he was there at the drop of a hat.
Dale grew up attending the Salvation Army Church. His faith was quiet yet strong. He showed God's love to those around him by his servant attitude.
It was this faith that carried him through his 10 month battle with cancer.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We will love you always and forever and can't wait until we see you again in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chilliwack Salvation Army Church. Due to COVID restrictions, no service will be held at this time.
