It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father Clifford Herman Currence on September 21st at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Olive Currence and only brother Roy Currence. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his four daughters and son-in-laws Debbie Currence & Marcel Boulianne, Valerie & Clayton Greve, Denise Perreault & Dale Greve, Janice & Dino Stefanucci. Three grandchildren Shane & Jennie Greve, Sean Perreault and great grand daughter Ashland Kryger Perreault. Niece Helen McGregor and nephew Donny & wife Deloros Currence whom he loved and held dear to his heart. Clifford arrived in Chilliwack from Abby, Saskatchewan in 1932 and remained in the area until his passing. He loved the outdoors, Chilliwack Lake being one of his favorite places, which held some of his fondest memories. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing cards, watching the old John Wayne western movies and dancing. And oh what a dancer he was! Clifford will be remembered as a lovable, witty, funloving, mischievous, caring & kind hearted man, who loved his family and friends immensely. It is with broken hearts we say good-bye to our handsome father with his bright and twinkling blue eyes and a smile that said, no matter what... he loved you. Rest in peace Dad and may your final road trip to heaven lead you to the cattle ranch of your dreams! There will be a celebration of life held in the fall of next year, details will be announced. In Clifford’s honour, please consider a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. The family also wishes to extend their gratitude to all the staff at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital for their care and compassion.
