Cindy Packer (nee Kozak) passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 18th 2018, at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her loving husband Mike Packer, daughter Guadelupe, sons Derrick and Levi, parents Don and Donna Kozak, sisters Bobbi Kozak and Karry Kozak-Fedoruk (Gordon), nieces and nephew Lauren, Kyera and Shayne mother-in-law Janice, father-in-law Collin and step mother-in-law Elise Packer, brother-in- laws Mark (Michelle), Dave (Penny), niece and nephews April, Lex and Cain.
Cindy was born and raised in Chilliwack where she was an avid dancer and loved going to brownies then on to girl guides. She was active in sports and excelled at field hockey and soccer. Cindy graduated from Chilliwack Senior Secondary School in 1986 then went on to attend UBC with a major in geology. After leaving university Cindy's passion was her work, where she made herself indispensable to all of her employers until destiny intervened and she met her future husband Mike. The connection was instant and they were rarely apart, marrying on August 12, 2002. Cindy and Mike shared a wonderful life together and in 2008 were blessed to start a family with Derrick, Levi and Guadelupe. She had found her true calling and focused all her love, strength and effort on her family.
She discovered a new hobby - a love of beading, while she continued to enjoy time spent outdoors and in nature. Cindy was a dedicated and devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend and her memory will live forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
