Robison, Charles Stilson III. It is with much sadness the family announces the sudden death of Charles Stilson Robison III. Charles Robison (Charlie) went to be with the lord on November 11th, 2013 at his home in Chilliwack at the age of 70 years. Charlie was born April 12, 1943 in Warren, Pennsylvania to parents Charles S. Robison II and Nancy A. Salerno. Fascinated with aircraft from an early age, Charlie developed a keen appreciation of flight and mechanics which would interest him his entire life. A craftsman and perfectionist, he was later to begin building a plane, constructing all the pieces by hand. In the early 70's he started a musical career in Los Angeles with his partner Elliott Kaplan, and was signed with Columbia Records. A lifetime membership in ASCAP, he was lead singer, lyricist and composer, a talented musician and showman. Since moving to Chilliwack in 1978 he owned several businesses in Chilliwack including California Customs and later co-owner of Fat Boyz Pizza. Charlie was a people person, always animated and on the go. Devoting his love and time to his children and grandchildren. Charlie was predeceased by his parents and all his aunts and uncles. Charlie will be lovingly remembered by son Charles, daughter-in-law Erika, daughter Flora, sister Sherry, in-laws, nephews and nieces, cousins, grandchildren Chailyn, CJ (Charles Junior) and Gabriel. A celebration of Charlie's life will be held at 1pm on Thursday November 21st, 2013 at First Avenue Christian Assembly on 46510 First Avenue, Chilliwack. Bill Hamm will be officiating the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, if friends or family so desire, a donation may be made to a charity of their choice.
