Born Nov. 7, 1926. passed Jan. 10 2011 born in London, England. Predeased by mother Rose Gregory, and wife Lillian Jones.

He died with his granddaughter Tara Maric and close friends by his side.

Tony was a veteran of WW 11 in the Black Watch in the British army and survived as a prisoner of war in Japan. Upon rehabilitation he became a Valet and Chauffeur, tour bus driver throughout Europe and lived in London. He eventually came to Canada and married Lillian Jones and lived on Salt Spring Island and work as a trucker for many years.

He is loving remembered by step-son Barry (Carol), step daughter Linda (Bob), grandchildren Tracy, Todd, Tara Marie and Matthew; great-grandchildren: Megan, Ty, Scott, Logan.

Tony loved travelling and his fellow snowbird and loving companion Marjorie Jackson shared his wanderlust and passion for golf. He leaves behind his most caring friends Doug, Stella and Ralph who gave their devotion to a friend and veteran; their devoted support in hours of need. Our thanks go to his friends, in particular Marge and Doug, for their unselfish and continuous loving attention. Our thanks also go to the staff of Chilliwack Hospital and the Cascades Hospice for their excellant care.

No service by request, any donations would be appreciated to the Shriner’s Club of B.C.
