It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Carol Casavant. Carol passed unexpectedly on February 10, 2018, at the age of 80, with family by her side.

Carol was born in Watrous, Saskatchewan at an early age her family moved to Kimberley, B.C., where she would spend the next 50 years. During this time she met and married the love of her life, George, and together they had two daughters, Kelly and Lori Ann. They moved to Kamloops in the early 1990's to be closer to family, and in 2003 made Chilliwack their home.

Family was the most important thing to Carol and she felt very blessed to have four wonderful grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her family was her world and she meant the world to her family.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Dick and Irene Amy, and her brother, Bud Amy. She is survived by husband of 62 years, George; daughters, Kelly (Bob) Power, Lori Ann (Jim) Waites; grandchildren, Ian (Julia) Power, Nathan (Shannon) Power, Justin (Sarah) Waites, Amy (Jared) Webster; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Ryerson, Mila, Anella, Halen, James, Wells, and Charlotte, sister, Wyonne, sister-in-law, Doris, as well as many nieces and nephews, and so many good friends.
