Carl Harvey KNOKE

October 2, 2007

Carl Harvey Knoke made his exit with dignity on October 2, 2007. He was born November 9, 1932 in Bethune, Saskatchewan to Clinton and Nancy Knoke.

The family relocated to Richmond, B.C. in 1943. Ten years later he met Dorina Finnigan while working as a brakeman for the CPR, and their marriage in 1954 produced a daughter and two sons. Harvey loved family, music, fishing, Keno and cooking. He never encountered a recipe he couldn’t improve upon!

Harvey is lovingly remem–bered by his “angel” companion of 15 years, Jeannette Mundy, sister, Dorothy Spence of New Westminster, daughter Kerry-Lynn Goto (Ken Goto) of Phoenix, Arizona, and sons Dan Knoke (Clara Knoke), and Rick Knoke (Laura Knoke), grandchildren Nick Knoke (Jessy Grunau), Michelle Mailhot (Jason Mailhot), Jennifer Knoke and Jeremy Knoke, all of Chilliwack, and a wealth of friends he made during his journey here.

Dad, you are going to a place we’re not ready for, and you’ll have to go there alone. But we will all join you some day; and we look forward to that time when we can spend time together forever. Sleep tight, dad…sleep well. We love you. Always have. Always will.

A celebration of Harvey’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, October 6th at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack, B.C.
