On April 28th, 2013, Brian passed away peacefully at Cascade Hospice succumbing to cancer diagnosed two weeks earlier.
Brian was born in Caragana Sask., on July 12, 1945. He is survived by his partner of 44 years, Peter; two step daughters, Sheila and Corinne; his brothers, Barry and Norman and sister Sandra.
Brian was a straight talker, always ready to back a worthy cause. He loved gardening and coffee with friends at Starbucks. He displayed empathy for all. He had a winning smile and he exuded a positive grace.

Losing Brian has been devastating. I am in debt to six unique ladies, my daughters, Sheila and Corinne; Linda, Liz and Christianne and a special friend Brenda who stayed with me and Brian to the end. Much love and thanks.
