Blanche Margeurite Irene Savage (Windsor/McCloy) - born December 2, 1921 in Apsley, Ontario; passed away at Cascade Hospice, Chilliwack, B.C. on Thursday, November 16th in her 96th year.

Daughter of the late Archie and Nellie Windsor.

Survived by her husband James Savage; daughters Perla Werk (Earl), Jacqueline McCloy Pell (Bryan), Joy Ceccato (Chico) and sons Bill, Larry, Ian and Brian McCloy. Predeceased by her daughter Judith Jarabek-Gray (Al). Dear sister of Audria King, Ruby Antrobus, Zella Everest, and Maisie Mackenzie.

Predeceased by her sister, Irma Oliver and brothers Garnet and Nelson Windsor. Survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Blanche was raised in the Peterborough, Ontario area and was proud to have served in the Royal Canadian Navy for the duration of WW II. She lived in many Canadian provinces and has been a resident of the Chilliwack area since about 1958.

She made many friends throughout her life and was always willing to help others in need. In her earlier years she was a member of the Tenette Club, Canadian Daughters League and a helper in the Vedder Crossing Guides and Brownies as well as a volunteer in the Mennonite Brethren store in Yarrow, B.C. for many years.

At her request no funeral service will be held.
