Beverley is survived by her five children, Christine, Russell, Michael, Kate and Robin. At 93 Beverley could name each of her twelve grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, and tell you all their birthdays.
Born in West Vancouver, Beverley spent her last years at Cascade Lodge in Chilliwack where she was happy and content. As the wife of a military officer she had travelled and lived all over the world. She did volunteer work wherever she found herself. She directed choirs, acted and sang in little theatre groups.
In her early years Beverley loved to play badminton and bridge. She was a strong swimmer and diver, and won competitions for her aquatic grace and style. As a student Beverley enrolled in Home Economics. As a mother she designed, sewed and knit distinctive clothes for herself and her children. She cooked tasty food. She was an avid gardener.
Throughout her long life Beverley played piano and sang. She gifted everyone in her large family with a love of music. Her celebration of life (date to be announced)
will be filled with music and the voices of her family singing together.
