June 12, 1923 - June 29, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ben Colloby at Chilliwack General Hospital June 29th at the age of 98.
Ben was predeceased by his loving wife Flo of 31 years.
Ben is survived by his stepson Doug Cameron (Rita), stepson-in-law Ted McClung and nephews David Colloby (Marion), and Martyn Colloby (Carole), three grandchildren, Shelly, Laura and Sue and seven great grandchildren.
Ben was born in Tyldesley, England and served in the RAF during WWII. He settled in Vancouver and was employed by H.A. Simmons Engineering and became Project Manager until his retirement in the 1970's.
Ben enjoyed his last 7 years at Chartwell Hampton House in Chilliwack and the many friends he made there. A special thanks to Joan for all your help and friendship towards Ben and thank you to his Fraser Health Care Aids and the staff at Hampton House. Forever in our hearts.
