Arthur James WILKINSON

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur James Wilkinson on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003 at MacIntosh Lodge, Chilliwack, B.C.

Art was born Feb. 8, 1911 in Vancouver and at a young age moved to Harrison Mills where he lived most of his life. There Art was involved in numerous occupations from “whistle punk” to Dept. of Highways from which he retired after 35 years. Many fond memories and stories were recalled about “Life in Harrison Mills”. Eventually he had the distinction of great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.

A graveside service will be held at the Valley View Cemetery, Agassiz, Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Doug Ireland officiating.

A memorial tea will follow at 12 noon in the Tea Room of Henderson’s Funeral Home.
